about hummingfeet

Deborah Yanowski, founder of hummingfeet, graduated from the University of Toronto, with an Honors degree in Fine Art. She moved to Chicago in the late 80’ to persue a career in Graphic Arts. Some of her clients included the Chicago Tribune, The Museum Of Science and Industry, The Court Theatre, The City of Chicago Neighborhood Festivals. Deborah’s art is found in many private collections.

Deborah has participated in numerous craft shows and fairs, and paints anything she can get her hands on.

Today Deborah's focus in hummingfeet is on creating life cycle event documents in acrylic paint on paper.  As an alternative to classic wedding Ketubahs, or to honor any other life event, hummingfeet can create one-of-a kind hand painted artwork to commemorate and celebrate.

The pieces in this gallery are all one-of-a kind and just a few examples of what can be created for you at Deborah Yanowski’s hummingfeet.

Every piece of art that leaves Deborah's studio is made from non-toxic, water based acrylic paint.
